Since 2014, the Festival has been held in the Collegiate Church of Saint-Georges, a site of Gallo-Roman origin, capital of the Velay region and seat of a bishopric until the sixth century. The Romanesque church (eleventh and thirteenth centuries) is exceptional for its size, and it owes its astonishing vault to the fact that the axis of the nave does not coincide correctly with that of the transept.
