In the teeming New York of the 1970s, the young Philip Glass, then on a quest to find an  innovative style, found the source of a polyphony rich in astonishing modernism in choral music of the Italian Renaissance. This gave rise to an emblematic, minimalist and repetitive style, in which the listener plunges, loses himself, finds himself again and ends up transformed. And who better than Léo Warynski and his magnificent Les Métaboles choir to immerse us in this music, making it resonate with a previously unpublished work by Andrea  Basily?
