Programmation

Written between 1874 and 1888, Bruckner's Symphony no.4, known as the Romantic  symphony, is certainly his most famous work. Monumental and spectacular, Bruckner's music fascinates for its sense of enormity, which is always orderly and formally clear. Set against the prelude and Liebestod from Tristan and Isolde, this profoundly Romantic and passionate programme will characterise the second concert by the Orchestre national du Capitole de Toulouse.
